Why are Wilson's Catch of the Day a ‘Superstar Supplier’?
With a background as a chef, owner Stuart Wilson is passionate about sourcing his seafood locally and ethically from small boat suppliers. With traceability and provenance at the heart of his business, Stuart chooses low impact fishing, selling a selection of hand dived, creel and line caught produce to some of Glasgow’s best restaurants and to communities throughout the West of Scotland.
Hand-selecting fish and shellfish with tasty recipes in mind, Stuart proudly champions some of the lesser-known seafood species, like turbot and plaice and enjoys sharing cooking tips with customers to help them create delicious meals at home. To accompany their fresh fish, they also sell a range of seasonal and local produce, including featured superstar suppliers Peelham Farm.
